MARRIAGE ALLOWANCE – The tax allowance for married couples or those in a civil partnership
Marriage allowance is a tax allowance specifically for married couples and couples in a registered civil partnership.
It’s what’s called an elective allowance meaning that you have to claim it. It’s a claim that you can make yourself, or you can choose the route so many of our customers take which provides a fast and effective service for claiming this valuable allowance.
McGinness Associates provide a specialist claims service for Marriage Allowance as part of our personal tax services for the General Public. We undertake the whole process on your behalf and take away the issue of you having to deal with HMRC, so you can sit back and let us do the work for you.
If you qualify, we’ll claim for the current year for you, assess if we can backdate your claim for up to four years and ensure you are properly registered on the tax system for automatic claims going forward.
Its all done under our no win no fee guarantee, so you don’t pay a penny until you receive your refund. Our fee is 24% of the amount of the claim received for the current year and the backdated years. There’s no charge for the savings you make in future years.
